Learning never ceases, and if you want to stay on top of your game, you need to continually read and learn about personal finance and investing. Below I have included a few websites that I would recommend reading through as a great starting point for your ongoing education.

Required Reading

There are a few topics that you must be educated on, but I haven't had the expertise to cover on this site. All of these links come from The Motley Fool, which is without a doubt one of the best investing website.

  1. IRA's
    IRA's, specifically Roth IRA's, are an excellent way to build wealth for your retirement
  2. 401(k)'s
    401(k)'s are retirement plans set up by certain employers
  3. Mutual Funds
    Mutual funds are a collection of stocks that are actively managed by investors
  4. ETF's
    ETF's are very similar to mutual funds, but are traded like stocks and have less overhead
  5. Stocks
    Stocks are the bread and butter of investing
  6. Analyzing Stocks
    Before purchasing stock, you need to know which stocks match your investment strategy
